How to Host a Classy Garden Tea Party

If you want to get together with some friends but you want something more interesting, a garden tea for ladies is a perfect solution. A garden tea for ladies is exactly what it sounds like. These are some tips and suggestions on how to host one.

Invitations

 When I think of a tea for ladies I think of elegance. To start off a elegant event you want to have invitations to show the theme of  the party. Nowadays we just send a text message or and evite but it might be fun to change it up. A pretty online invitation would suffice, but to make it really special you could send pretty cards to your guests. Since it’s a garden tea party you’ll want them to include flowers. This goes for online and physical invitations. You can buy customized cards online and have them shipped to your guests. Or you can get some at the store and send/give them to your friend personally.  Another option, which is my personal favorite, is to make your cards. Some ideas on what to do for this is are decorate with pressed or dried flowers, paint flowers on, or use floral stickers.  ​

Floral design  

This part isn’t as necessary, but will add a lot to your party. Of course you don’t want to do host the party in the back of your garage, come up with creative to redecorate with easy temporary items that will liven up the part. The preferable spot to host is outside or in view of the outside. Having it in a garden on a little table surrounded by flowers is the best. Anywhere you go you want their to be lots of flowers and greenery. These are some cute ideas to make you table setting very flowery. You could roll napkins around the silverware. Then set dried (Or fresh cut) flowers on the front and use brown twine to tie. Set these on white plates. Use flowery teacups that match your choice of flowers. A large floral centerpiece adds a great ascetic to the area. To add to the floweriness wearing floral dresses might add to the garden atmosphere. As a party favor you could give each lady a small hand bouquet. Make it your own and add your favorite things.
